Hydromedusa "Pandea Conica"
Pandea conica is a small hydromedusa reaching 3 to 4 cm, without the tentacules. It has a striking colour contrast. The gastric cavity and the bright red gonads are visible through its blue transluscide umbrella. A yellow-orange border line runs around the umbrella. This planktonic species lives near water surface, and is more frequent during springtime.
