Kostas was born in Athens. He studied engineering and over the last 12 years he worked at a construction and trading company. From 2011 he is a professional underwater & aerial freelance photographer. Kostas started free diving in 1996 and in 2000 he obtained his diploma in scuba diving.
He took up technical diving in 2007 and continues until today with many dives at wrecks and reefs in Greece and abroad.
At the same time his great love for underwater photography urged him to invest on professional underwater photography equipment and training.
In 2012 he created his personal website for underwater photography www.wetklik.gr.
In 2013 he received an award # Prize “Ecological topic”for his video "Little creatures of Korinthiakos Gulf" in the international film festival of Belgrade.

03/2015 Kostas is among the winners of 3rd Underwater Photo Marathon 2015 that took place in Fotoklub Zagreb Croatia. One of his recent photographs, Siphonophore "Hippopodius Hippopus" received the second place in Macro DSLR category. He also received an award (third place) in overall DSLR competition. Finally his photograph in the category "Fashion" reached seventh place.
22/04/2015 Great news!!! I have just been informed that my photo of a Larval Fish (Macrouridae nezumia) took 2nd place at the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine & Atmospheric Science international underwater photography competition in Miami, in Fish / Marine Animal Portrait category.
Today he is a member of GrafasDiving team, both as a technical diver in historic wrecks and as photographer.

Finally Kostas teaches uw photography and organizes workshops.
